The VARCITIES Consortium is pleased to announce that the next Healthy Cities Helix event will take place on 15-17 of November in Malmo, Sweden, as part of the first edition of TechConnect Europe.

TechConnect is a global technology prospecting company that has established programs, experience and networks in innovation commercialization, investments, marketing and events that will be used to support and accelerate regional and national innovation initiatives. This year the company decided to extend their scope and organise their first high-level research and innovation  European event.

TechConnect Europe Innovation Conference & Expo is designed to connect top applied research and early-stage technologies from universities, labs and startups with industry and investors, end-users and prospectors.

Previous TechConnect events were highly attended by Tech Transfer & Commercialization Office, Universities & Research Centers, Government & Private Research Labs, as well as Regional Economic Tech Hubs and Accelerators & Incubators. Moreover, TechConnect is considered the world’s largest innovation pipeline with 450 000 active contacts.

With a focus on Life Sciences this conference represents a great opportunity for the VARCITIES project to showcase our (early/anticipated) results / technology and the excellent work that the Consortium has done and will continue to do. VARCITIES’s aim is also to bring our work closer to the public and we believe that TechConnect Europe is a great step towards making our technology more available and making a difference Varcities – in people’s health and wellbeing in the cities.
